Singer/Published Song Writer - Most of Bobby's adult life has been, as a fulltime Professional Entertainer.
His versatile voice developed over the years through a love of Rock, Pop, and Modern Country.
Bobby commenced a fulltime Professional Singing career in Brisbane, aided by the capable Management Skills of Doug-Gilmour.
Eventually forming a group of go anywhere, play anything, musicians. As a front man, singer and player, touring proved to be a great learning curve. The road also gave Bobby Ricks hands on experience with sound, lighting, bookings, public relations, good humour and smart production, to name a few.
Bobby has loads of television experience.
Clubs, Hotels, Taverns, Malls, Corporate, Festivals and Tours Gigs, have all contributed to moulding him into the polished Professional he is today.
In 1999, by a twist of fate, Bobby Ricks was asked to write a Musical Theme for a Television Series. This triggered off a never before felt keen desire to seriously write music and lyrics. That bug is still ever present. His songs have Won National Awards, (3) and combined with his Gifted Vocals, has landed him a Recording Deal with Hardrush Records. A Single is soon to be released, followed by a 12/15 Track CD. The future is looking good for this fulltime go anywhere performer.
